Perry's Car Show

July 5, 2010: We went to the Perry City Car Show and Sadie came too(Because it was her Birthday). Around 1 in the afternoon,Sadie got worn out and took a nap. We had blankets but she wanted to sleep on the cement. So cute. Everytime a little kid came by the car Sadie jumped up and waited till they came to see her and pet her.
Lance's dad by his car. Dennis with his award.
Gary and Wanda by their Cougars. They were the only Cougars there.
Gary won an award too.

Sadie's 2nd Birthday

Sadie's Birthday was July 5th. So we had a family party and so I bought some canned dog food and put two dog bones on top for her cake.
Sadie eating her cake. She only ate half of it and then she was done. But she loved it.
After the long day, she was ready to sleep. So this is her at the family party sleeping.
During the dinner our niece wanted more peas so her mom told her to go get her own. Well she did it all by herself.

Cherry Days/ Riverdale Fireworks

On Saturday, July 3rd we went to Cherry Days. This picture is a couple from North Ogden that we see at car shows every once in a while. They are the owners of the magazine "Hometown Values".
I went to the parade while Lance and his dad went and put the cars in the car show. I took this picture for Lance. The car is from Lomond View Gardens in North Ogden (Where Sean and Tiffany got married).
After Cherry Days, my sisters in-laws invite family over for dinner and to watch Riverdale fireworks in their front yard. So before the fireworks I took a picture of us.

On Memorial Day we went on a mustang ride up Parley's Canyon and around to Morgan. Then we stoppped at Larry's for lunch. There was about 50 mustangs and one cougar(Uncle Gary's). But it was fun to see everyone look at all of us. It was also nice weather.

April 2010

In the month of April, we went four-wheeling up to Mantua. Lance and His Dad taking a snack break.

On Easter weekend I was in charge of making the dessert/birthday cake for Sunday dinner. So we were celebrating our niece London's 2nd Birthday so I made a bunny cake. The face was cake and the ears were twinkies. No one know that till the end.

Happy Birthday to Us!

For our birthday's this year we went to Mesquite and Las Vegas. We left Friday, March 26th Lance's birthday and came back on mine Monday, March 29th. Lance has always wanted to go visit the Carroll Shelby Headquarters in Las Vegas. We were just going to go to Las Vegas on Saturday but we found out the Museum is not open then. So we went to Las Vegas Motor Speedway and to the Museum on friday. After we were done there, we thought we would head to the Fashion Outlets in Primm Valley. We thought that these outlets would be close to Vegas but they were a extra 30 minutes away. But the extra drive was worth it. We got some of the best deals ever. Alot of the stores were trying to get there winter stuff off the shelves and getting the summer stuff out. One of my best deals was getting two pair of Lucky Brand pants that are normal $88 for $10 each. Lance's best deal was a pair of Nike shoes that were worth $125, he got for $30. It was great. We ate dinner in Primm and then headed back to Mesquite where we stayed three nights at the Virgin River Casino. On Saturday we went back to the Las Vegas strip. We parked at Circus Circus and walked down to the Luxor and back. It was about our whole day. We ate dinner at In-n-Out. But when we were down in the arcade under the M&M World I found a $5 bill. We saved it and took it back to Mesquite. I put it in a penny machine and ended up winning $50 buck so I stopped. On Sunday we just hung out around Mequite and found out that the Oasis Casino is out of business. Then on Monday we headed back home. It was a great getaway. We had great birthdays. Thanks everyone. This is the racetrack that Nascar using in Las Vegas.
Inside the museum there was a few cars(old and new) to see. But the funny was that there was a bride and groom in there getting married next to the cars.

This was a note on a few of the cars.
This car was the first cobra made. It showed wear and tear but it still was worth $27 million.
We were about to leave when we saw of few brand new mustangs outside one of the buildings. Lance got out and talked to two of the workers and they told him that the cars were done but they were special ordered for people. Most of them were priced at $50,000 to $70,000.
This is a picture we took on saturday on the Vegas strip. As you guys were getting snow, we were in shorts. Our whole trip we had 60 to 70 degree weather.
In Mesquite we found the Ford dealership and they also sell Lance trailers. We thought that is was funny, so we went there and took some pictures.

Kyle and Melissa's: 69 Torino, But they were in a different club.

Workahaulic Lance

Lance has been working alot lately. This is the engine that he has to run a 200 hour test on. It should have only taken 10 days but has turned out to be more.

Stupid Oil Filter

On Saturday, February 20,2010: I was gone to a baby shower of a old co-worker and I came home to Lance doing a oil change on the New Car cause we didn't know when it was last serviced. It usually took Lance 30 minutes max to do a oil change by himself. This one took us (Lance, Me, Jeff, and April) 3 hours. Whoever changed the oil last time forgot to oil the filter before they put it on. So we ended up hammering a screwdriver through the old filter a few(about 8) times. Then we were able to get it off. Thanks for your help Jeff and April.
As you can see from the above picture, we had the oil come out onto the garage floor. Below is the picture of the new oil filter. This it the old filter.
Lance with both the filters and the screwdriver.

New Car: 2004 Ford Expedition

February 16,2010: We were not looking for a new car cause we had just fixed the Explorer. But when we went to Westland on Friday,February 12 to have the Explorer and Five Hundred serviced we test drove the new 2010 trucks and I a salesman tried hard to sell us a F-150 but I said no. Well that got lance looking around at different dealerships and came across this one. We went Saturday to go look at it and test drive it but it was gone. They told us it would be back Monday cause one of the salesman took it to Mesquite for the weekend. Lance worked Monday and I was off for Presidents Day. So I went by the dealership and it was gone, so I call them and they told me that it was still gone and would be back that night. I got a phone call at 7 saying it was back in town but needed to be cleaneed. I took them we would come Tuesday after work and see it. Well, as you see we traded the Explorer in and got the Expedition.

Valentine's 2010

Lance surprised me with roses on Thursday, February 11. And inside the roses was this Ipod Touch. Which I didn't see for a few minutes, Lance was having a hard time not to laugh out loud. I have been asking him for one for a while. Well I opened it and started putting stuff on it but when I went to go put music from my laptop to the ipod, I couldn't. Come to find out that when I downloaded i tunes it crushed my e drive. So I had McKenzie and Andy help me with it. But a few days later I took it back. I didn't get a new one. I decided to wait and look into the new zunes. Sorry I didn't get any pictures of Lance's presents. I gave him a new pillow that helps your back and neck stay lined up. He also got the new Josh Turner cd. He also has to order the mustang a new steering wheel part. On Friday night we went out to Moore's Family Resturant cause Lance was in charge of our ward Valentine's Party on Saturday night. On Sunday, it was the Hart Sunday Dinner and everything was red or pink. It was a great Valentine's weekend. I Love You, Lance!!!!!The flowers didn't last long. I seem to kill them.
